Der Grüffelo

The great forest is full of danger. It's good to have a strong friend. And if you don't have one, you make one up. The little mouse is out and about in the woods and everyone seems to take it easy on her. The fox invites them to the jelly, the owl asks for tea and the snake invites them to the snake-mouse festival. But the mouse has always had a date: with her boyfriend, the horrible Grüffelo. She only made it up, but when she describes it to her would-be hosts, they prefer to dine alone. The Grüffelo is a practical, imaginary friend! - But then suddenly he really shows up, and his favourite treat, he says, is sandwiches with a little mouse. It's not that practical. But what a clever little mouse is, it also teaches a Grüffelo to fear.
