In the winter of 1912, Georg Heym drowned while ice skating, and in 1995 the novices of an elite drama school in newly reunited Berlin are set upon his puzzled Faust fragment. Prodded by their professor, they become more and more entangled in the labyrinths of the genius poet's thoughts. The psychological pressure increases, competition flares up, delusion and reality begin to blur. Then a dead body is found on the school's rehearsal stage. Was it murder, suicide - or a devil's pact after all?.
