Der Glöckner von Notre-Dame

A cripple, the bell ringer of Notre-Dame, loves a fairy-like gypsy who, in turn, ignites the desire of the priest who made the poor Quasimodo the bell ringer. The story unfolds in the dark Paris of the late Middle Ages, in the underworld of crooks and cutthroats, in alchemical secret laboratories, in the dungeons of the powerful Inquisition, and repeatedly in the cathedral of Notre-Dame.
