Der Einsatz von Biotronic® Top3 in der Zuchtsauen-Fütterung

In pig farming operations, the pressure to deliver ever better performance is increasing; otherwise, businesses are no longer profitable today. The profit margin is often very low, making it essential to achieve a certain level of performance to withstand competition. Since the ban on antibiotic growth promoters, interest in alternative methods has grown, such as organic acids and secondary plant compounds, which are intended to improve animal performance. The company Biomin developed a product called Biotronic® Top3, which contains propionic, formic, and acetic acids, as well as cinnamaldehyde and the Biomin® Per4izer®, and is already successfully used in weaned piglets. However, the goal of this study was to determine whether this product also shows effectiveness in breeding sows. The precise results and effects that this product demonstrates in a field trial with breeding sows are detailed.
