For the first time, the Polke family is traveling to the sea together. Angelina is incredibly excited. And of course, guinea pig Ottilie should come along. It's just unfortunate that no one read the fine print in the vacation rental contract: "Pets of all kinds are strictly prohibited!" Luckily, neighbor Mr. Möhring agrees to temporarily take care of Ottilie. The old man is a bit peculiar, though. Just in case, Angelina leaves him the book "You and Your Guinea Pig." And then there's Mrs. Waller, who soon shows up at the door with a large bunch of parsley, Ottilie's favorite food, and also wants to travel - with Mr. Möhring to the sea. And Ottilie simply comes along. A delightful guinea pig story filled with humor in both words and pictures.
