In this foundational work, three leading representatives of Cognitive Psychotherapy, along with Jon Kabat-Zinn, unfold the practical and theoretical prerequisites of mindfulness practice—using the example of supporting individuals affected by depression. This approach, known as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), was developed by Zindel Segal, Mark Williams, and John Teasdale. It is based on the stress reduction through mindfulness program initiated by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
