Der 47. Samurai

The Japanese man Philip Yano is searching for the sword with which his father stabbed an American soldier during the battle for Iwo Jima in 1945. His trail leads him to the USA to Bob Lee Swagger, whose own father was involved in the bloody battle. In fact, Swagger finds the sword and flies to Tokyo to return it to its rightful owner. It turns out that the weapon is of historical significance. The Yakuza-controlled underworld of Tokyo quickly takes notice. After Swagger learns the high martial arts of the Samurai, he faces his bloodiest battle yet.
