Dem Leben entfremdet

Why we are born as originals and mostly die as copies. We live in a completely constructed world and are unable to perceive reality in a lively, compassionate, and empathetic way. This serves as a basis for a fundamental critique of our civilization by the significant psychoanalyst and social critic Arno Gruen. Our consciousness and our reality are dominated by crises, hatred, excesses, and violence, leading to a contempt for the human. Scientific knowledge, technology, and computer science influence, supervise, and command us: abstract consciousness relentlessly alienates us from life. Our sense of reality and compassion for others are increasingly devalued and suppressed by an unnatural and no longer human consciousness. As a result, we no longer recognize the origin of our self-destructive actions. An empathetic consciousness would allow us to rediscover the path of life.
