Definition der Prozessrollen im effektiven Prozessmanagementsystem

This study sought answers to two research questions. One of these questions deals with the influence of the definition of process roles on the effectiveness of process management systems. The aim is to determine how significant the impact of this factor is. The second research question focuses on the requirements or criteria that the holders of process roles should meet to enable the effectiveness of the process management system. The data were collected through expert interviews based on a standardized guideline and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Based on the numerous findings, all proposed hypotheses could be confirmed. It has become clear that the definition of process roles is undoubtedly a success factor for the effectiveness of the process management system and that the competencies and characteristics of the individuals assuming the process roles are very important for the successful execution of these roles, thereby also influencing the effectiveness of the process management system.
