Product details

Tried and tested tens of thousands of times: The "Deep Sky Travel Atlas" is the unique tool for finding star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Great clarity, design adapted for night-time use, water-repellent surface and ring binding make it an excellent companion on your own sky tours.

38 maps cover the entire sky at a uniform scale of 2° per centimetre. They contain more than 20,000 stars up to magnitude 7.5 and the 666 most rewarding star clusters, nebulae and galaxies for binoculars and telescopes. More than 300 objects are illustrated on detailed maps with a scale of 0.5° per centimetre and a limiting magnitude of 10.0. A valuable aid are the imprinted Telrad target circles, which enable the safe finding of celestial objects with a Telrad direction finder.

Each map page is accompanied by a comprehensive data page with information on brightness, extent, distance and a short description of each object. Numerous cross-references link the Deep Sky Travel Atlas with the book "Deep Sky Travel Guide", to which the contents of this map series are coordinated.
