Estimating heights, depths, distances and distances is quite difficult, even with a lot of practice and experience, and often you get a huge kick out of it. With a few tricks and a little geometry, however, you can do quite reasonable, relatively accurate surveying work. In this outdoor manual, common but also little known methods of indirect measurement of distances, heights, depths and angles are taught. All measurements can be carried out without or with very simple technical aids, the methods are simple but still scientifically exact. For better understanding, the theoretical basis and practical application of each method is explained.
