Das Zauberhaus

The Magic House is one of many working models from creative children's dance that dance educator Julia Dold provides to parents, educators, and teachers to guide children in playful dance improvisations. Philipp Greifenberg has composed ten atmospheric songs for the rooms in the Magic House, which instantly evoke images in the mind and encourage children to move. In one room, the children transform into little ghosts that seem to float silently through the space; in the next, they become race car drivers, swiftly maneuvering in a slalom, or they waddle like penguins, trot like horses, or gallop. Through these improvisations, the children's muscle groups are purposefully trained while having fun.
