We are accustomed to many children suffering from the violent actions in their families of origin. Hardly anyone reacts when a small child is yelled at. However, such actions that they have to experience firsthand are unbearable for children's souls. They are burdened with the unresolved problems of adults that have nothing to do with them personally or with their own development. It is important that the various facets of violence in families are finally explained more publicly and consciously. Violence has many faces and leaves scars on children's souls. The future lives of these vulnerable children are often forced into dark, unconscious patterns that are harmful to their personal development. Children from such family backgrounds often lead unfree, sad, extremely complicated, and unbalanced lives. Our association is not only concerned with child abuse, aggression, and exploitation, but also with the extreme imprints that parents leave in their children's souls. If adults feel overwhelmed and disorganized by their own problems, it is not uncommon for them to loudly and angrily complain about their lives. Children become afraid when parents scream in anger and try to balance these energies. This, in turn, triggers anger in many adults, causing them to feel provoked by their children and react violently. Thus begins the carousel of lived family violence, which can continue for a long time until someone takes action and puts an end to the scenario.
