Das Trio

Three friends in their twenties: Thora, Hugo, and August. They come from different worlds. But in two magical summers, they experience a love for a lifetime. Thora, the only daughter of a charismatic industrial family from Stockholm. August, an aspiring artist, has been her best friend for years and sometimes even more. Hugo, equally fascinated and frightened by this new and privileged world into which he is suddenly thrust as a tenant of Thora's parents. Soon, the three become inseparable, spending every waking moment together: in cafés, on bike tours, in Paris, London, Berlin. Beneath the surface, strong emotions lurk; themes of identity, class, and love emerge.
