Two Sisters from Sweden and the Psychology of Murder
On a rainy afternoon in a suburb of Stockholm: Hiding under the kitchen table, five-year-old Tilde must witness her mother being brutally kicked to death. She is the only witness to this horrific crime and can only vaguely remember the appearance of the perpetrator. At the same time, psychotherapist Siri Bergmann meets five new patients who have formed a self-help group. All of them have been subjected to male violence and have terrible stories to tell about betrayed love, beatings, and humiliations. However, the effort for healing and the search for reconciliation soon turns into a hunt for a possessed murderer who committed his first act on a rainy morning in a suburb of Stockholm.
