Product details

Since the publication of the Rider-Waite tarot deck in 1910, tarot has been perceived not just as a tool for divination, but rather as an initiatory system. This aspect has only been strongly emphasized in modern times and can truly be experienced through the Rider-Waite tarot. The idea of initiation, known as initiation, is an ancient concept that exists independently of tarot. Together, initiation and tarot create an explosive mix.

We have named the booklet "The Tarot of the Rosicrucians" based on the experiences of Christian Rosenkreutz. In 1614, the first and second manifestos of the then-unknown Brotherhood of the Rosicrucians were published in Germany. The third manifesto appeared in 1615, and a year later, the work "Chemical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz" was released. Johann Valentin Andreae, the presumed author of at least the fourth work, narrates in the form of a novel the initiation experiences of a certain Christian Rosenkreutz, who is already introduced as the founder of the Brotherhood of the Rosicrucians in the second manifesto.

The emotional descriptions portray a respectful, joyful, yet naive old man, completely foreign to greed, narcissism, vanity, and arrogance. From today's perspective, he represents the Fool. "The Fool" is the first of the 22 trump cards, assigned the number zero, while the following cards are numbered from 1 to 21. "The Fool" is the goal of this booklet: "The Tarot of the Rosicrucians - The Path of the Initiate.".
