During the Christmas conference that established the General Anthroposophical Society, Rudolf Steiner, together with those present, embedded the spiritual foundation of this society into the hearts of the people. In the text of this meditation, the hierarchies of angels are directly addressed and invited to let their voices resonate in spirit. Michiel ter Horst has spent many years exploring the inner connection between the foundation stone verse and the angelic hierarchies. His presentation of these studies is complemented by a variety of text fragments from the works of Rudolf Steiner, which deal with the influence of the angelic hierarchies on the development of humanity and the cosmos. These fragments were selected with the aim of deepening the meditative engagement with the foundation stone.
