The EU trademark law has been extensively modernized. As a result, a new codification of the Union Trademark Regulation (UMV) came into effect in 2017. The EU trademark reform was completed in 2018 with the entry into force of the amended Delegated Regulation (DelV) and Implementing Regulation (DurchtV). Accordingly, the second edition has been completely revised and significantly expanded. The new second edition provides a detailed overall presentation of:
