Leah Thompson grows up in a small village in rural Yorkshire. No one can yet imagine that the girl from humble beginnings will one day conquer the runways of the world: Milan, London, New York are the stages of her spectacular career as a model, which grants her a life of luxury and glamour. However, the fateful connection with the Delancey family, which reaches far into her past, follows her like a dark shadow and pulls her into a whirlwind of tragic events that began during World War II in Poland.
