Product details

In his essay The Work of Art in the Age of its Technical Reproducibility, Walter Benjamin describes the historical, social and aesthetic processes that are connected with the technical reproducibility of the work of art. Benjamin's two texts, Kleine Geschichte der Photographie (1931) and Eduard Fuchs, der Sammler und der Historiker (1937), published here for the first time in book form, also belong to the series of art sociological works by Benjamin. They corroborate Benjamin's insights in individual cases.
