Das Kapital

Karl Marx's 'Das Kapital' is undoubtedly one of the key works of political philosophy. To this day, it is the subject of controversial discussions, and its theses repeatedly come into the spotlight of a broad public. The questions that Marx addresses in his astute analysis seem largely unresolved: How does a person manage to keep the reins in hand in a capitalist society? And what is necessary for them not to completely 'disappear' behind its seemingly enigmatic processes? Marx's main work remains a fragment. The first volume, 'The Production Process of Capital', which is fully included in this edition, is the only one of four planned volumes that Marx himself wrote and published. In it, after decades of study, his entire political economy is condensed.
