Product details
Hiltrup, with around 26,000 inhabitants the largest of Münster's formerly independent neighbouring communities, can look back on an impressive development over the last one hundred years. The richly illustrated presentation "The historical Hiltrup" tells of this. Rita Muschinski, who has been researching Hiltrup's past for many years, has selected over 400 illustrations, mainly from the period between 1900 and 1960, from extensive archive material, in particular from the Hiltrup Museum, and provided them with catchy explanatory texts. The "old Hiltrup" with its farms and businesses, its places of worship and hospital, its pubs and schools and much more is shown in a multifaceted way. The author has paid particular attention to everyday life and rural Hiltrup, all in all a very lively walk in pictures about Hiltrup's change and development.
