Author's Text
Prof. Dr. Uwe Böschemeyer, born in 1939, studied Protestant theology and pursued studies in psychology and philosophy. He was a student of Viktor Frankl, holds the European Certificate for Psychotherapy, and is the founder of the Hamburg Institute for Existential Analysis and Logotherapy. In 2006, he was appointed Rector of the European Academy for Value-Oriented Personality Development in Salzburg and was added to the Austrian Psychotherapists' List in 2007. He teaches at the Viktor Frankl University in Klagenfurt. His work focuses on existential analytical logotherapy, the value-oriented personality development he established, and value-oriented imagination.

Blurb
The now globally recognized typology of the Enneagram is a stroke of luck for psychology. It describes nine human character types that differ in thinking, feeling, and acting. If we had more knowledge of our own type and those of the people close to us, our interactions would be easier. Uwe Böschemeyer introduces this treasure trove of human understanding in a clear and humorous way.
