Author: Frieder Harz, Professor emeritus, born in 1943, worked as an elementary school teacher for four years. He then studied theology and earned a doctorate in practical theology. After that, he served as a parish pastor for several years. Since 1982, he has been a training and education consultant at the Religious Education Institute of the Bavarian State Church, primarily at preacher seminars. From 1989 to 2009, he was a professor of religious education at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Munich (later Nuremberg) and held a permanent teaching position at the University of Munich. Since around 1980, he has conducted numerous training sessions and published extensively on religious education in childhood within families, daycare centers, elementary schools, and communities, with a particular focus on telling biblical stories.

Illustrator: Andrea Lienhart lives in Freiburg and has been successfully working as a management trainer, supervisor, and business coach in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland since 1995 for well-known companies, corporations, business associations, administrations, entrepreneurs, and individuals. Through her training agency, she connects trainers worldwide and offers Train the Trainer programs as well as tailored coaching for trainers. Andrea Lienhart is regarded as a specialist in challenges related to human resources: in attitudes, communication skills, and relational abilities. As an expert in people at work, she has been intensively engaged for years in potential development and competency enhancement, particularly focusing on the topic of respect. She is passionately working towards a grand idea: a different, people-friendly corporate culture. Andrea Lienhart is a professional member of the German Speakers Association (GSA) and the Association of German Top Trainers, and she gives many lectures at conferences and events. Her motto, "Think in possibilities, not in difficulties," has been successfully implemented by her for many years.
