A glass villa, a wealthy family, a woman torn between responsibility and love: The grand saga of Crete by Nikola Vertidi. After the death of her uncle, interior designer Katharina takes on the task of preparing his villa in the Cretan mountains for sale. Old letters from her deceased father and notes from her uncle provide her with an unexpected glimpse into her family's past. Katharina begins to doubt the image she has of her relatives. Her nearly hundred-year-old grandmother Hera also tells her about a secret that the women in their family have kept for generations.
