The book "Goldmann," the title of this newly edited novel by Ingeborg Bachmann, first appears in a travel report by the publisher and friend Siegfried Unseld from Rome. This project occupied her from 1964 until after the novel "Malina." Due to the accidental death of the writer in October 1973, it remained a fragment.
