Darmstadt-Dieburg entdecken

For some, the district is an insider tip. Others already enjoy being on the road in the varied region - Darmstadt-Dieburg has long had its fans. And rightly so, because there is much to discover between the Hessian Ried, the Odenwald and the Bergstrasse. Pretty half-timbered towns such as Babenhausen or Groß-Umstadt invite you to stroll, lonely valleys to hike and cycle, the Messel Pit World Heritage Site, Frankenstein Castle or many small castles to discover. And from a culinary point of view, the district around Darmstadt also has much more to offer than the famous asparagus. In her book, author Sabine Börchers has embarked on a voyage of discovery through the 23 towns in the district and compiled the most interesting excursion destinations, hikes, attractions for children, shopping places, cafés and restaurants.
