Product details
He is one of the three great classic flying aces of Franco-Belgian comics: Major Dan Cooper, test pilot of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In his nearly forty-year career, he has flown almost everything that can stay in the air for more than three seconds. He has experienced adventures not only all over the world but even beyond in outer space - battling criminals, traitors, and the pitfalls of technology. This is primarily the achievement of one man: Albert Weinberg (1922-2011). At the end of 1954, he introduced the Major and aeronautical engineer for the first time, and until 1992, he not only provided the meticulous, technically demanding illustrations but also wrote (almost) all of the exciting stories himself. Only in three out of a total of 41 episodes did Jean-Michel Charlier join the comic cockpit, who otherwise worked on the aviation series.
