Product details
He is one of the three great, classic aviators of Franco-Belgian comics: Major Dan Cooper, test pilot of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In his almost forty-year career, he has flown almost anything that can stay in the air longer than three seconds. And he has had adventures not only all over the world, but even beyond, in space - fighting criminals, traitors, but also the pitfalls of technology. This is the merit of one man above all: Albert Weinberg (1922-2011). At the end of 1954 he brought the major and aeronautical engineer to the starting line for the first time, and until 1992 he not only provided the careful, technically demanding drawings, but he also wrote (almost) all of the exciting stories himself. Jean-Michel Charlier was only involved in three of the 41 episodes in the comic cockpit, the rest of them for the Fliegerkonk.
