The Dabei series is a new offering from Hueber Verlag, designed for young people who are just starting to learn German. It is characterized by a clear structure and a gentle progression. The material for a specific level is divided into two volumes, and each volume consists of 4 modules, each containing 3 lessons. Each module begins with a collage of photos that introduce the chapter's theme, and the Dabei symbol indicates where students can tell and complete the story themselves. The module concludes with a summary of the Zum Schluss material in the form of projects, dialogues, and cultural information, as well as the section "Das kann ich schon," which provides a tabular summary of the communication and grammar content. The complete grammatical, lexical, and communication content is presented in a clear separate column. This makes it much easier to review the material and identify the key elements of the lesson.
