Dieter Poslowski, a 33-year-old freelance clothes hanger salesman from Hamburg, tells the story of the most important time of his life. But then he meets Tanja, who not only tolerates his stumbling through life from one flaw to the next, but also becomes pregnant by him unintentionally.
