Information about the series:
Successful teaching in heterogeneous learning groups
The workbook, the workbooks, and all other materials have been specifically developed by our expert team from regular and special schools for teaching in heterogeneous groups and for inclusive education.
D wie Deutsch was awarded the international BELMA Award 2018 for its innovative and contemporary teaching concept.
The student book
The book is theme- and competency-oriented: one thematic focus per competency area.
The clear structure is based on the phases of teaching:
- joint start and initial exploration of the material using cooperative learning methods
- compact knowledge - summarizes the results of the collaboratively developed content
- differentiated work, practice, and deepening at four levels thanks to tailored materials, tasks, and page design - without being restricted to one level
- joint conclusion - bringing together and reflecting on what has been learned
The workbooks
To prepare for learner success assessments and class tests, two workbooks are available.
The Basic and Plus workbook: three units at three levels per competency area for independent practice and deepening.
The Basic workbook with additional support: two units at two levels per competency area for intensive practice and deepening of basic competencies - optionally with special support.
Both workbooks are also available with interactive exercises, aligned with the units of the workbooks. Tips and feedback assist in independently solving the tasks.
