The book is aimed at women who want to engage more deeply with their own bodies and cycles. In particular, it seeks to reach women who suffer from cycle disorders, including the absence of menstruation, providing them with knowledge and tools to help them regain balance and health. The book also addresses topics related to the desire to conceive and healthy pregnancy.

Through illustrative graphics, bodily processes are explained and combined with exercises and techniques that can support a healthy cycle or the healthy course of a pregnancy. Drawing from her own experiences and a broad education in psychology, psychotherapy, yoga, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and trauma work, the author offers a holistic approach to self-healing of the female body and cycle. She combines science with traditional healing methods and philosophies while addressing a highly relevant issue: the difficulties many women face in finding peace with their femininity and female bodies. Additionally, she touches on the topic of eating disorders, which affects and concerns many women. Furthermore, this book is likely the first German-language publication that explicitly deals with the absence of menstruation, specifically hypothalamic amenorrhea.
