Product details

John Armleder, Beat Streuli, Zilla Leutenegger, Yves Netzhammer, Balthasar Burkhard, Thomas Flechtner, and Cécile Hummel: Since 1975, Credit Suisse has been building a collection of Swiss contemporary art, which now includes around 5,000 works. This collection particularly features groups of works by individual artists as well as projects created for specific locations. For the first time, the Credit Suisse collection is presented in book form: Over three hundred images showcase the artworks in their usual places within the bank's premises, accompanied by analytical texts that introduce 16 site-specific projects and groups of works by 30 artists. An illustrated inventory of the collection's activities over the past ten years can be found in the appendix. This is an exceptionally beautifully designed compendium of a collection of significant stature.
