A melting pot of bad decisions and terrible consequences. In a trailer park somewhere in the Ozarks, Billy Lowe grows up with an alcoholic mother and a violent stepfather. Billy channels his anger and pain onto the football field, where they make him a very good but unpredictable player. Soon, Billy loses control during practice. When his stepfather is found dead, an unstoppable chain of events begins, marked by violence, prejudice, and hopelessness.
