Courage

Courage means acting with the heart. However, this cannot be done alone; one must engage in relationships: ideally with someone who shows how to stand up and – when necessary – disagree. How to raise one's voice and not always go along, not always laugh along. Even when it is uncomfortable. This requires role models: in the family, among friends, in public life. Katharina Stemberger had these role models and became a courageous person herself at a very young age – all while never losing her sense of self-irony.
