The Australian Connection

Reading is fun - with exciting, informative, and controversial readings, the Cornelsen English Library series gradually introduces students to handling longer texts. The series is divided into Fiction and Cultural Studies. The readers are offered in three difficulty levels throughout the learning years. Level 1 consists of simpler readings, Level 2 features readings of medium difficulty, and Level 3 includes texts for high-achieving learning groups. All readers contain an alphabetical vocabulary list. Starting from the 5th year of learning: An 18-year-old Brit wants to visit his father in Australia, of whom he has only fragmented childhood memories.
