Information about the series edition: Einsterns Schwester, the proven concept for open German language instruction, promotes students individually. The successful teaching material takes into account different performance levels and learning speeds. It is available in both print and basic script. Einsterns Schwester is self-explanatory and thus ideal for independent learning in the classroom and in cross-grade learning groups.

The basic package includes six letter workbooks, optionally with an integrated basic script or print script course (336 pages). It contains repetitive exercise formats with sample tasks, access at various levels, prompts for communication and reflection, as well as diverse exercises for basic vocabulary. Additionally, there are tips for plenary phases, exercises to promote working memory and attention, and an optionally usable supplementary booklet "Writing with the Sound Table," developed in collaboration with the ZNL - Center for Neuroscience and Learning.

The first reading book offers a variety of text types for reading at three differentiation levels and can be used after each of the six letter workbooks for individual and group reading times. It includes levels 1 and 2 in syllable script, designed to match the letter sequence of the workbooks, as well as a clear layout in a double-page format. It strongly considers the area of media education and provides various tasks related to the text and further action prompts.

The letter workbooks are designed for children with learning difficulties or for second language learners. They can be used alongside the standard edition for individual support or for the entire class. The pages are structured for visual relief, with simplified task types and gentle progression. The vocabulary is eased with more frequent word repetitions.
