Information about the series: The learning concept of Einsterns Schwester - Language and Reading focuses on subject-oriented and largely independent work by children - at their own pace and through different approaches. Exercises to promote working memory and attention expand the concept and are important building blocks for lifelong successful learning. The popular character Lola provides examples and demonstrates work techniques. The Themenhefte Einsterns Schwester is modular: 4 thematic booklets and a project booklet in a slipcase. There are 4 thematic booklets covering the areas: investigating language, writing correctly, planning and writing texts, and reading. Independent and course-oriented work in learning sections is step-by-step: Each page focuses on a learning objective, with marked optional and mandatory pages, reflection pages: thinking about one's own learning, tasks at three levels of difficulty. Loan and consumable materials for grades 2-4. Project booklets: One project booklet per grade level on a topic - 2: Butterflies, 3: Whales, 4: Leonardo da Vinci. Workbooks: An additional workbook per grade level (solutions provided in a booklet). The media passport - a great addition to Einstern and Lola. All six competence areas of the KMK strategy "Education in the Digital World" are covered - each corresponding to the grade level. Numerous exercises related to digital media and the internet deepen and expand existing knowledge. Many four-color illustrations illustrate the topics. Tips and further impulses are conveyed to learners in a friendly manner by a surfing crab. The 32-page booklet is a meaningful addition to Einstern and Einsterns Schwester, completing the area of media competence.
