Coop is a cynical old dachshund. He has experienced many families and difficult situations and has come to terms with spending his twilight years not in a loving family, but in a shelter. One day, Mike stands in front of his kennel. The old man takes Coop in. Although Coop has to share the house with the domineering cat Lucinda, life with Mike is a dreamlike new beginning. What Coop doesn’t realize is that he is soon to face the greatest challenge of his life. When Mike and his two grandchildren, Zach and Emma, are threatened, Coop must show how much strength he still has. Coop embarks on a dangerous journey to save his new family.
