Cool Japan Uncool

Japan polarizes! You love it or hate it, think it's cool or uncool, there's nothing in between. Contradictions wherever you look. The longer you study Japan, the more you notice that you can write a book after a month, an essay after half a year and after a year you don't understand anything at all. Living in a country known for innovative inventions, you get frostbite in the winter because insulation for living quarters doesn't seem to have been invented yet. Public transport is the safest and most punctual in the world, but taxi drivers are often over 70, don't speak English and local knowledge is a foreign word to them. So there are numerous things that throw us into confusion and for which we love or hate Japan. Decide for yourself if Japan is cool or uncool for you.
