This book from the established CEDIP-Consilien series is the first attempt in veterinary literature to compile natural healing methods—ranging from homeopathic therapy to phytotherapy, cytoplasmic therapy, and many other techniques—for application in animals. Accurate diagnostics and strict adherence to indications are fundamental prerequisites for the effective use of natural healing methods. The main advantage of using natural healing methods is that they generally do not have side effects, in contrast to allopathy. However, this does not mean that allopathic treatments can be completely disregarded in every case. They also have their indications and are mentioned here when deemed necessary or when they must be used as complementary treatments in accordance with veterinary due diligence.
