Competencies 01. methodological, personal and social competencies

"Competencies" is a multifunctional work and learning tool designed for the development of interdisciplinary skills. It consists of three volumes: 1 Methods, Self, and Social Competence; 2 Language Competence; 3 Career Choice and Finding Apprenticeships. It is designed as a reference work with exercises, work templates, and the opportunity for easy self-reflection. Regular use in guided instruction as well as in self-organized learning enables effective promotion and development of interdisciplinary skills. The teaching material supports and promotes not only interdisciplinary skills but also self-organized learning. Learners are guided step by step through various topics. The exercises encourage reflection on one's own learning, setting personal learning goals, reflecting on the learning process, and planning new work and learning steps. Each topic concludes with a self-reflection section. Additionally, the achievement of learning objectives can be assessed with an online test. This manual is based on the "Competencies Handbook" by Hanspeter Maurer and Beat Gurzeler but is specifically designed for bridge programs and the two-year vocational basic education.
