ICT Management

This teaching material describes the relationships between corporate strategy and ICT strategy and imparts knowledge about the development of a strategy-compliant sourcing and project portfolio. The focus is on models, concepts, methods, and techniques that are typically used in ICT management for the procurement of ICT components, ensuring ICT services, selecting ICT projects, and their control and management. Practical examples, tasks with solutions, as well as further links and literature complement the learning material. The content takes into account the module identifications 601, 603, 611, 612, and 613 of the Swiss vocational education in computer science, as well as the framework curricula of HF Technology and HF Business Informatics. The textbook is primarily aimed at students at the levels of professional certificate and diploma, but it is also suitable for IC.
