Como agua para chocolate

Mexico at the beginning of the 20th century. As the youngest of three daughters, Tita is not allowed to marry, but must support her mother until her death. Pedro, her great love, marries the older sister to at least stay close to her. She can express her feelings alone in the kitchen: while eating, the guests relive what Tita felt while cooking - with sometimes grotesque consequences. Consequently, each of the twelve episodes is introduced by a recipe.
