Collage

Collage has an inherent anarchic quality, it loves exaggeration, plays with the viewer's irritation, provokes a second look. It combines things that superficially do not fit together - and precisely because of this get stuck in the viewer's head. Authoritarian regimes have therefore always had their difficulties with collage artists. The more digital and sleek the world becomes, and the more creative everyday life becomes, the better it is to go on a foray armed with scissors, glue and the joy of discovery.

Natascha Fix showed her collages and we could hardly close our mouths in amazement and enthusiasm. How does she do it, we asked.
