" D'abord le titrer. Une ville. Pas une ville précise. Plutôt l'empreinte d'une ville quelconque. Son squelette. I thought of the stories I had in my head like neighbourhoods. And I imagined the people who were in the streets, and who sometimes started and died in a neighbourhood, sometimes walked the whole city, accumulating neighbourhoods.re, accumulating neighbourhoods and mondes that had nothing in common with each other and which were nevertheless the same city. I would like to write a book that tells the story of someone who is lost in a city.There are many characters - in the streets: there is a hairdresser who cuts hair for free on Sundays, there is one who is a gentleman, and there is another who is mute. There's a little boy called Gould and a girl called Shatzy Shell (nothing like the essence). There are also two neighbourhoods in the city, assez vastes, un peu décalés en arrière dans le temps. There is a history of boxing, and there is a western. The western, that's something I've been thinking about for years. I've always been trying to imagine what one could do to write the final fussillade. When it comes to boxing, it's a world of things, a super world.
