Target group: Learners who have learnt Italian a long time ago and want to refresh their knowledge, learners who have already learnt another Romance language and who are interested in cultural topics.

Aim: The monolingual Italian course in three levels leads to levels A1, A2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Concept:

Five modules cover the topics of geography, art, society, history and language and are each divided into several lessons. Each learning unit is flexibly structured so that the teacher can adapt it to the needs of the learners.

Through varied input, creative tasks, authentic situations and reality-based activities, the learner is placed in a motivating and lively learning environment. Their active role, learning autonomy and the development of learning strategies are consistently encouraged. The approach to language is playful (motivation), using oral and written texts to present and analyse not only grammatical but also pragmatic, communicative, lexical and socio-cultural aspects of the language. The co-operative work of fellow learners is continuously supported.

The course book with integrated workbook contains a total of 16 lessons with numerous exercises, tests and self-assessment tests, a comic story and a grammar overview.

The teacher's manual introduces the methodology of the language course and contains practical tips for teaching, the learning key to the course book section and the transcriptions of the listening texts from the course book.
