Chopin, Frédéric - Waltz in C sharp minor op. 64 No. 2

Product details
That Chopin dedicated each of his three waltzes, composed in 1847, Op. 64, to a baroness or countess is no coincidence: after all, noble ladies provided the ideal audience for this music, both as performers and as hosts of musical events. However, the C-sharp minor waltz, dedicated to his piano student Baroness Charlotte de Rothschild, quickly transcended such social boundaries. With its emotional sigh motif, it is now part of the core piano repertoire and is perhaps one of Chopin's most popular melodies.
