Product details

Charles Milles Manson, born on November 12, 1934, in Cincinnati, was already involved in crime as a teenager and served his first prison sentence at the age of 16. He experienced several stints in prison until his release in 1967. He earned money as a street musician in California and met the Beach Boys in the process. One of his songs even made it as a B-side on a Beach Boys single in 1969. Manson is considered very talented, especially in rhetoric. He repeatedly managed to manipulate people, using methods from the Scientology cult, and he is still regarded as the personification of evil. He even heard hidden messages in the Beatles song "Helter Skelter." A dark cult developed around him, and even shock-pop star Marilyn Manson references him with his stage name. Author Michal Welles has explored all of this in many conversations with Charles Manson and now presents a book that showcases this man in all his cruel facets, featuring many handwritten letters, images, and sketches by Manson himself, who authorized this book as "Last Words." It is a disturbing book about a criminal who wrote the darkest chapter in pop history.
